Bob Drake, Sr. and his brother Bill Drake started Hydracrete Pumping-California in 1963 with the purchase of a concrete pump from Whitemans. Bob Drake eventually bought his own concrete pump and moved to Cleveland Ohio to start Hydracrete Pumping-Cleveland where he worked out of his mothers garage.
Hydracrete has now went from his mothers garage with just one trailer pump to what we are today with a very wide range of concrete boom pumps, trailer pumps, and material conveyor belts. Bob Drake has also bought Whiteman Conspray in 1987 which is a trailer pump manufacturer. And also started our sister company Concrete Pump Repair which has been repairing any size of concrete pump and has been selling parts since 1985. With Bob Drake Sr. then his son Bobby Drake who started working with Bob in 1989, and Bobby’s son Collin Drake. There are 3 generations that all have the love and passion for pumping concrete.
